The painting on The Call's album cover is of a woman who has cultivated inner strength and personal power while on a journey of discovery in the jungle. She is riding out of the jungle into community where she will share the strengths and insight she has gained during her time away.
At the time I wrote this album, I asked the questions, "What is calling me into action?" "How can I contribute my gifts to community?" "I know that I can't give in every way. I am one person. What are my most potent and influential gifts that might inspire and support the further awaking of humanity?"
"What can I contribute after my significant time away in the metaphoric jungle, where I digested, explored, dreamed meditated, played, wrote, read developed my skills, and played with sound?"
This album is an answer to all of these question and to my strong wish to contribute well!
